5th P-Day at the MTC

Hola Familia y Amigos!!!

This week went by so fast I don’t even know what happened! Most of it is more of the same. We have laughed and smiled, taught and felt the Spirit so much this week. I truly feel myself so privileged to be here doing the Lord’s work.

Today is our 1-month anniversary - exactly one month ago we joined the Lord’s missionary army! I can’t believe that one month is already gone away.  We are officially old MTC missionaries - and I’m not sure how that happened because I feel like such a baby!  But I am loving life here at the MTC.  The people around me are so amazing, we are all a huge family. I feel like we were all best friends in heaven, and we knew we would all be privileged to join the Lord’s missionary army together at the same time, and so this is actually just one big family reunion. 😁 It is truly amazing to me because most of us were actually supposed to be at other MTCs (Dominican Republic, Mexico, Guatemala, etc.) , and yet we all ended up here with each other. It makes me think that Heavenly Father knew that we would need each other and learn from each other, and so being here with everyone is such a tender blessing.

This week it’s been a privilege to teach AND be an investigator! Along with our sweet Daniella, we’ve been teaching each other as investigators, and it’s been a sweet experience. We all teach each other and are able to answer each other’s questions. Most of us are acting as a close friend, and so it’s very real and close to our hearts. There have been many sweet and spiritual experiences that I’m so grateful for.

This week something I’ve learned more about is how much I LOVE the scriptures. I am so grateful for the time I have to study and read them - they’re such a gift for us in the latter days. I feel like this week I’ve gotten to know the ancient prophets like they’re friends! I have such an appreciation for all the work that Moroni and all the other prophets put into making that record for us. It truly is a gift from God. I feel like I’m reading the best adventure book ever. I feel like I would be happy to just read and read and never stop - every day I become more grateful for the word of God. The Book of Mormon is one of my favorite things to teach about because that’s the tool they can use to find every single answer they need.

Yo no se mucho español, y tambien yo no se much as cosas.

Forgive my español, but bad Spanish will never stop me from bearing my testimony of my Savior.

Les amo mucho!
