4th P-Day at the MTC: We're OLD!

From Left to Right: Sister Clifford & Sister Clarke. Sister Gregory. Sister ???. (Rachelle loves her, though!)
Hola Familia y Amigos!

Este semana fue muy bueno!  You aprendiendo mucho espanol y ensenando muchos investigadores todo el tiempo!  Me encanta eso mucho.  Lo siento por mi mal espaniol, pero estoy mejorando mucho cada dia.  Just like always, I am loving it here at the MTC!   I can't believe it is P-day again, it feels like yesterday was Saturday!  We are now officially the oldest missionaries in our zone, and I can't believe it.  I feel like such a baby!  I love being here at the MTC because small miracles happen every day here.  It's amazing to see how the Lord blesses His missionaries and helps them to become who He needs them to be.

One of the new sisters she ran into was her old Relief Society President from her BYU Helaman Halls ward.

This week went by so fast, I'm not even sure what to tell everyone!  Mostly, among the salt wars, intense zone volleyball during gym time, and continuing to try to keep the Elders out of trouble (they are still grieving about their fish), we are pretty busy!  We are teaching pretty much daily (sometimes twice a day), we have 6 hours of class every day, gym time and study time and more planning for lessons.  They keep us busy every minute of every day!

The Salt Wars. Apparently one of the Elders thinks Rachelle is "salty" and constantly reminds her by placing a container of salt wherever she is. She decided to dish it back. Maybe she can be a little "salty"!

She's not too busy to find just the right outfit for the other sisters in her zone. Her closet has become known as the "Room of Requirement" because all the sisters like to borrow her clothes. I'm glad we packed a few extra things. I remember wanting a a few choices in my mission wardrobe.

But something I learned this week that changed how I view missionary work is this sentence: "I love them more than I love my comfort."  Hermano Savage taught us that we show our love for those we teach right NOW by sacrificing our comfort to learn Spanish and become truly prepared to bring them to Christ.  So I've been focusing this week on showing my love for the people I will teach right now - by studying and working and trying my absolute best to become the missionary God needs me to be for them!

I'm sorry I don't have much more to say about this week. It's a lot of the same: class, teach, study, plan, study, class, and then another day!  They're going by so fast I have hardly any idea what's going on.  All I know is that I am loving my time here, I am loving preparing to bring others to Christ, and I am LOVING coming to know my Savior.  The blessings just keep piling up - I don't know how I could ever repay my Heavenly Father for all He has given me, so I'm just trying to serve Him and become who He needs me to be.  I'm focusing on becoming a window - just trying to let the Lord's light shine through me to all who need it.

I love the MTC, I love being a missionary, and I love my Savior.

I love you all, until next week!

Con todo mi amor,

Hermana Clarke
