Buenas,
This week was another miracle filled week!!! Here are some highlights of this past week:
1. Gaby Galvan got baptized and confirmed this weekend! She is so Christlike and such a good example of humility and love and willingness to follow the Savior. Her daughter Brittney is a future missionary for sure! She tried on my tag and Gaby got all teary eyed. It was so, so sweet. I love her and we were SO happy for her to take this wonderful step! Her family all came, as well as her nonmember fiancee. So we see some real incredible potential in that family! What a wonderful day for them!
2. Uriel Lara got ordained to the priesthood on Sunday. He and his wife Marifer came to church, and they were both so so excited. They were announcing other ordinations, and Marifer was nudging Uriel and they had the biggest smiles on their faces. I don't think I have ever felt so full of pure joy as I did watching them call Uriel' s name and watching him be sustained. My heart felt like it might burst. I don't know if I've ever seen anyone as glowy as Uriel right after he got ordained. They are such an amazing couple. Marifer bore a beautiful testimony of how trials come to the faithful, especially when they do good things, but that they are given to us for our growth. After Uriel's baptism, their little baby got sick and they experienced a whole flood of trials all at once. But they persevered and allowed it all to be a faith building experience. They are such examples to me.
3. Jessica and all her kids came to church for the 8th time, but this time her "husband" Jose came with them for the very first time! It was SUCH a happy thing to see that! His heart was finally softened enough to come. We finally got to talk with him, and he said he really did want to change and go with his family to come closer to God. We explained how he could do that, starting with joining his family at church. Their complete family all sitting together was the happiest sight for me. Progression in the Gospel happens best as families, so we are so so happy for them. Jessica is progressing super, super well. While in a lesson with her, the Spirit made her a promise that if she remained faithful, then her family would follow her into the Gospel. We don't know how long it will take, but the Spirit made her that promise, and she holds on to it while she walks this path. It is amazing to see the beginning of that promise be fulfilled. We still don't know how long it will take, but Heavenly Father loves Jessica so much. He will not leave her alone! We are still teaching her aunt, Juana, who is progressing well towards baptism. What an amazing family they are.
Those are just a few of the amazing miracles we have seen this week, among all the little miracles. Emmanuel's older brother and Sister Quintanilla's son are both advancing in the priesthood, and that made me so happy to see that progress in those families with our recent converts! We also set a BD with a beautiful young girl named Betsy, the daughter of a family returning to activity. Their whole family came to church on Sunday, as well as some other Inactive s we had been hoping to see! The Falcon family are doing amazing and preparing for the priesthood and for their temple recommends! There were so many people at church this Sunday we had to add a bunch of chairs at the back of the chapel. This ward needs to split so that there are enough callings for all the recent converts! What a beautiful sight to see everyone rejoicing together about all the good things that are happening in this area.
Dios vive, Jesús es el Cristo, y me encanta ser representante de él en Su maravillosa obra.
Les quiero tantísimo!

| This is how missionaries have fun on P-Day: they go to the church and cook breakfast while they watch LDS Bible cartoon movies. |
